Day 1: Delhi to Agra – Historical Sightseeing

8:00 AM – Departure from Delhi

Your professional chauffeur will pick you up from your desired location in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, or the airport. Travel in comfort via an air-conditioned private vehicle along the Yamuna Expressway, one of India’s best highways. A short stop for refreshments is included.

11:00 AM – Arrival in Agra and Hotel Check-In

On reaching Agra, check in at your hotel and freshen up. After a brief rest, you’ll begin your exploration with a government-approved local guide.

12:00 PM – Visit Agra Fort

Begin your sightseeing at the Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Emperor Akbar in 1565. This red sandstone fortress, spread over 94 acres, was once the royal residence of the Mughals and houses palaces, audience halls, and a museum of Mughal artifacts.

1:30 PM – Visit the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj)

Next, head to the Itimad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb, often called the Baby Taj for its intricate marble work and design that inspired the Taj Mahal. It is the final resting place of Mirza Ghiyas Beg, a Persian noble and grandfather of Mumtaz Mahal.

2:30 PM – Lunch Break

Enjoy a delicious traditional Indian meal at a well-rated local restaurant. Agra is known for its rich Mughlai cuisine, so this is a chance to savor delicacies like biryani, paneer dishes, and local sweets.

4:00 PM – Visit Mehtab Bagh (Moonlight Garden)

After lunch, visit Mehtab Bagh, a beautiful garden located across the Yamuna River, directly opposite the Taj Mahal. Enjoy a peaceful sunset view of the Taj Mahal from this vantage point — an experience cherished by photographers and nature lovers.

7:00 PM – Return to Hotel / Optional Shopping

Return to your hotel for a break. If desired, explore Agra’s vibrant local markets known for marble inlay work, leather goods, handicrafts, and jewelry. Dinner can be enjoyed at the hotel or at a nearby recommended restaurant.

Day 2: Sunrise at the Taj Mahal and Fatehpur Sikri

6:00 AM – Sunrise Visit to the Taj Mahal

Wake early to visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise. The first rays of the sun cast a golden glow on the white marble, creating a truly unforgettable sight. Your guide will share the poignant love story behind this iconic monument, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. (Note: The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays)

8:00 AM – Return to Hotel and Breakfast

After the tour, return to the hotel for breakfast and some rest. Check out and prepare for the final leg of your journey.

10:00 AM – Drive to Fatehpur Sikri

Proceed to the historic city of Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and once the imperial capital of Emperor Akbar. Explore the red sandstone marvels, including Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, and Jama Masjid, and discover why this former Mughal city is also referred to as the "Ghost City."

12:30 PM – Return Drive to Delhi

After the visit, begin your journey back to Delhi. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel, airport, or railway station — concluding your Agra overnight experience with unforgettable memories.
